A very fast left steep take off with a short barrel section which ends in a fat shoulder. The Crab factory stinks the place out on an offshore. If you want a right hand reef (and urchin spines) go further south around the headland to Concelaciou. Tricky entry and exit, holds a big swell, don't hang around for low tide as there is not a nice backwash from the reef shelf!
He is right about the smell from the fish factory it stinks. The waves you get here are incredible when it works. I was there last June and we got it about 5 ft clean. I broke my leash on the first wave it is very powerful. This is one of the best places in europe to get barelled, but above 8 ft it could end in tears. It breaks with exceptional potency.
