This place is really good for the south of the Island if a little bizzare. You get to the beach by going through a building site (by road) or across 1 km of volcanic rocky outcrop but it is worth it. The waves are pretty good at about 3-5 ft, but they come in sets of about 5, then it'll go quiet for about 15 minutes, then it really kicks off again! You can gauge when it's about to go off because there is a rocky point/bluff to your left as you look out to sea and when it gets rough there you know you've got about thirty seconds or so! Sorry if this review is vague, but I am a beginner.
Hey. ok the building construction road that Rob was telling about is not there any more, on the Boulevard there are two luxe hotels now, because that sand is not blowing in to the ocean anymore the wave is a little more choppy. But with a good southerly swell this is still one of the nicest spots. Clear warm water, no wind and sunlight all day.
