Oh my god how strong is the rip on a big day. It was one and a half overhead and cross shore northerly wind. I spent 20 minutes at least on the paddle out. Other days when it was head high it wasn't too much of a problem and the banks were perfect. Rippably the best waves I got on the trip. Viva la France.
