I have been surfing the Queberion peninsular for nearly 8 years now and still havn't met any english surfers in the water. This place is only a ferry trip and 2 hour drive away and provides warmer water, bigger more powerfull swells and fantastic french food. The penisular has got numerous reefs that all fire in the right conditions. This beach can provide insane drops at low tide and starts to mellow as the tide comes in and then just starts barrelling off the small reefs. (Just don't get bounced into the cliffs). If you fancy that solitary feeling head for the island off the end of the peninsular where you can surf for days and never see any one else in the water. People! Don't just drive south where every one and there dog goes, come here with the missus and get some great waves.
