I was in La Santa during August 2003. Unfortunately, the swell was small, but this wave did work a few days. There were lefts and rights, and more than one peak, however you have to be really careful of the exposed ledge/rocks on the inside and pull off before things get too intense. Got several sea urchin spikes in my feet whilst surfing this break, but it was a bit of fun and there was no-one else out the whole time!
Located infront of the small town of La Santa. Small harbour provides easy entrance and exits on big days. Heavy locals, heavy waves and even heavier wipeouts. When it is clean it's amazing with big barrels that will make you smile for months. Urchins are a main hazard and it's just pot luck if you hit the reef. The locals sit on the front and watch you and laugh!
This is a very short sucky left hander that is located close to the shore in front of the village of La Santa.
Quality and popular with many of our surf tour guests that use the guiding service we offer.
