When the northerly swells hit, the best place to be is right up next to the pier. Sheltered from winds you can get a good big clean northerly wave here !!

Down at the south end in front of the car park in sluice you get a top beach break at low tide. It doesn’t work even at mid tide really but the sand banks jack up some nice waves on a low tide. Always quiet.
