Can be a really nice peeling left off the wooden harbour arm (west beach) even hollow on rare occasions. Big high tide plus groundswell and it's on. Can be pretty local as the take off area is small. So show respect and you will have fun!
Due to council bulldozers the left no longer happens unless its a solid 6 feet. The wave is fat and crowded. The banks were perfect November 2001 but then the council bulldozed them.
