REVIEWS

I spent two weeks in the region last November. Minou is often crowded (closest break to Brest) with a whiff of localism. It works in most conditions, and when it gets it on Minou it can hold some fairly serious swell. I would generally recommend Brittany in the autumn/winter to avoid crowds and pick up best swell. La Torche and La Pelue are also worth checking. Both capable of going big.
