I went there for 4 weeks last summer, I tried all the Anglet and alike places but there were far too many people about. I ended up here and just stayed the whole time. There's a campsite that is right by the beach and cheap, and the surf is relatively uncrowded, possibly not as powerful as further south but hey, at least you get to catch a few!!!
