Ok, we've established NOT to go left. Again, take a big board, you'll need it. When the swell is clean and consistent, you're guaranteed some fun. I got one really sick afternoon here on the inside bowl - it was great. The photo below is of the next morning. Very nice indeed. Beware of longboarders, kooks, and getting caught inside on the inside bowl (painful). If you sit out the back and you have a big board then you're laughing.
Holds a true big wave 8-10ft+ when it's on. Surprisingly slow breaking but carries some power. Very heavy on the inside, with a rip taking you into rocks. Often crowded as the long paddle out can be dry hair easy. So there can be people out who shouldn't be. Fitness is a must as it can give you a good slap!
When it's working right it looks like the sunset of your dreams. Try to snag one from the peak off the old school heroes on their logs and you can enjoy a superlong, walling right. The shorter left has some real snap but you'll end up in the impact zone and it's a hellish paddle out of it. It is a beautiful offshore wave when there's a good swell.
