More of a long board wave. Mushy until high water and low water turn. A friendly local crowd, who are very good apart from the Germans who drop in and get in the way generally, but zealous life guards. Good surf club "Dolphin Surf Club" the surf teacher is VERY hot on a long board but has a short fused temper, DO NOT CROSS HIM. Every body tends to congregate in front of the life guards but a walk of 20 minutes north or south will get you deserted waves. Also home of SPOUTNIK classic longboards. Ask for Boris at Le Sylou Bar. Say Gram sent you. Great long deserted beach with peaks every where and loads of nudity for that all over tan but FULL of Germans. We love it.
