REVIEWS

If there`s a north swell around, Wijk will have the best of it. It is a wave with a mellow take off and a fast walling section sometimes followed by a hideous closeout. Catch it when it is clean and it is a dreamer. However it only works its magic when the winds are off-shore. Respect the locals, as long as they respect you back.

This place has to many peaks to mention and is often very messy. Very fickle and easily blown out. Scheveningen is a bit more consistent. When it is working you will definitely not be alone. Forget about catching a wave with a shortbord cause it will be packed with longboarders. Very popular with windsurfers as well.
