A classy beach with the cleanest whitest sand. With the right conditions this surf is the most fun around. Needs a good swell to get going but is handy when the Freke is blown out. Has a nice reef about 200m out that would be nice to try.
This works best on mid tide otherwise it dumps heavily. When it's working it holds a wicked wall face with plenty of speed and barrels on some occasions but you'd do well to come through it. A great spot. You keep moving on to the freke.
This seems to be a pretty advanced spot especially for guys like me who come from down my way. Hopefully I'll be lucky enough one day though to just make it into a barrel.
I found it good as a beginner when other places were too big. I was down there on a quiet day when out of nowhere a five foot 'wall' of a wave appeared -spooky.
