This can get heavy, with multiple peaks Guincho is a popular spot. Unless you're prepared to get up super early you won't get the offshore wind. As soon as late morning hits so do the onshore winds still can have nice walls even with the onshores!
Awesome spot. Surfed it in the summer when it was 12ft clean. I can only imagine what a big winter swell is like. If you want to get into big wave surfing but don't fancy dying at Menachoz or Guethenry then Guincho is your baby. One problem though: when the wind comes up every windsurfer on the continent shows up. Spectacular stuff but makes surfing difficult.
