This is just one long righthander. Just pick your spot, paddle out and surf for hundreds of yards down the point. Outside of summer there is no-one here so crowds are not a problem. There is a good campsite in town, great restaraunt on the beach and good freindly people in the water. I don't think I would be out there if I was a beginner.
