Easy access by car. A Sandy, circular bay. Quite small. Waves average to small. Crowded out in good weather and summer as it sits next to a large caravan park. No surf shops or hire.
Southend never gets busy bacause there's hardly ever a wave. Waves here are usually onshore. Better in winter, as it's often a lot bigger. Low to mid tide provides the best waves, High tide waves really back off sometimes. For the best condistions check the swell in irish sea.
