I surfed La Concha when it was small 2-3ft when Los Locos was running at 8ft+. The wave was fast and closing out and not so good. However, to the right of the beach is a river that was producing a good 4-5ft wave that was part of a quite incredble set-up. A concrete promenade seperates the rivermouth from La Concha beach. You could walk out to the lineup and surf the waves as far as the first bend in the river which was about 200yds. At the bend was a very small sandy "beach". You just walked out of the water and back up the promenade to the lineup. It was pretty crowded with a lot of boogy boarders but was incredible fun. The photo's are taken from the promenade and were not taken with a telephoto lens.
