Needs a big swell but when it works it works well. Check it out when it's too big and messed up elsewhere around the coast.

The winds need to be gale force south westerly to push the swell around. It only works well an hour either side of high tide. There is only one main peak so respect others there. A good winter wave.

A wonderful tranquil beach where I have surfed with seals more than once. With Force 7 south westerley to south easterly winds you will find peeling rights of 2 to 6 feet curving across the horseshoe bay with a great barreling inside section. See www Abersoch for October comp. photos.

Nice for about an hour before and after high tide but dies quickly after that. Excellent beach with more room than you think, beware the rock in the middle and one small one that's unseen.

Inconsistant, but on its day is definitely more than one star, if you get it good you'll be tripping for a week! Beautiful!

It can get good, mainly rights but main problem being crowding as its the most well known spot in strong SW winds.
