Newquay surf sucks. The other week the waves in Aberarth were about 6 foot!!!!!!

This is a really good break that works well even on tiny swells. The waves aren't that steep but they are clean and sometimes really hollow. The wave breaks both left and right. The locals are dicks but there are only a couple of them. It's a mile north of Aberaeron, and is very easy to find. Have fun!!

Thanks for the compliment Newquay boy.The right is much hollower, best on mid tide. It needs a good groundswell and at least a light or crosshore wind to work. In a blown out scenario, I suggest a trip to Newquay point (7 miles south) which offers a sheltered break and charming locals.
