Rarely works. But is probably the only place that can really hold a massive southwest swell in west Cornwall. When it's on it gets busy with locals and also be careful of shopping trolleys. You can get a clean right breaking off the harbour arm.

This really is the worst wave in Cornwall. A spilling right breaks for 10 yards down the side of a pier. it doesn't peel either, meaning you just have to go straight with VERY dodgy water, I threw up after surfing there this year.
