Punchy waves it offers lefts and rights at low and good rights at high although it does depend on the banks. Definitely worth checking if you are in the area! Often uncrowded.
This is a pretty dangerous place to surf. The rip on the right will take you out and up the coast along the cliffs. The waves are nothing special. It is better surfing at Northcott if you want a wave heavier than Widemouth.
