This is a very unusual spot that breaks on a number of swells but is best on a north east swell with south west offshore winds but can also be good on a big south west swell with south west winds.
Only really a longboard break and it is totally sand dudes and only really works at high water. The sea will look calm then out of the blue waves jack up on the huge sand bar and produce hollow small waves that are possible to surf for 200m on a good day!!!!
It can be a totally amazing wave but you will need to try time and time again to actually get it right!!! When you do you will think you are in heaven - it is such a shame this break is not facing a different direction and could catch more swell. Do try it though when the south west swells are too blown out at Camber and Folkestone.
