REVIEWS

An excellent wave when it breaks but it doesn't happen all that often. It is best at low tide with a big southwest ground swell but it can break at high tide further off the point although there will be backwash. It's common to be surfing on your own although when people are out it can get really aggro.

I live in freshwater bay and surf it whenever it works. This break can be epic in SW big winter groundswells. On big days it can get extremely hollow. Surfed it 4 months ago at abot 5 feet was mental with some hollow sections that gust opened up but it gust reels acrodd the bay. Low tide is best. Wicked surf always worth a look when compton is 3 feet or over.
