This bank only really works when its 8 foot +,seriously heavy & unpedictable! Exiting the water on a big swell can also become very worrying, do it on the wrong tide & you will face a huge sucking dry shorebreak!
Went there in early summer 2003. Excellent break, fast take off, big shoulders and BIG barrels. Breaks very close to shore in shallow water. Watch out for the rip. High tide shore break is very heavy but rewarding. Not for beginners. respect the locals. Have fun.
