Located 10 miles east of Llantwit Major, this beach break needs a large swell to get going. It offers a variety of left's and rights and an excellant A-Frame in the middle. It works on south westerly winds due to shelter from the headland.
Takes a real big swell to get going, but when it does it offers one of the heaviest waves on the south coast. Excellent banks that offers left and rights and in particular an "A" Frame that breaks in the middle of the beach.
You are too unlucky to surf this spot. On gale force southwesterly when everywhere else is messed up, you'll find this place 4-5 foot clean as you like barreling and super fun. Get on your bikes ride the length of Britain and you'll still miss it.
