This takes a larger swell to get going but when it is over 2 foot the wave bowles all the way through to the outside section offering long walls to work.
I live about a mile from Gilestone and surf there all year round. Although it is a dangerous beach it is worth the risk. It is the best break on the south coast!
I cannot believe you two have put this break onto this website! Lets keep the reefs on the Vale Heritage Coast under wraps, yes the likes of Gileston/Aberthaw are the best waves in wales for my money, much better than the gower reefs. Oops I have made the same mistake as you!
